Visitor Visa

Are you planning to explore the diverse landscapes, vibrant cities, and rich culture of Canada? Whether you’re visiting friends or family, embarking on a sightseeing adventure, or conducting business, a Visitor Visa offers you the opportunity to experience all that Canada has to offer.

A Visitor Visa, also known as a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), allows individuals from other countries to enter Canada for a temporary stay. It’s a document issued by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that grants permission for entry into Canada for tourism, visiting family or friends, attending conferences, or conducting business activities.

Types of Visitor Visas:

Single Entry Visa

A Single Entry Visa for Canada allows individuals to enter the country once during the validity period specified on the visa. This type of visa is commonly chosen by travelers attending specific events, such as business meetings, conferences, or cultural gatherings, or for leisure purposes like tourism. It's important to note that if the visa holder exits Canada, they cannot re-enter using the same visa, even if it remains valid. This means that if they plan to leave and return to Canada at a later date, they must apply for a new visitor visa. This visa type allows applicants to start the application process up to six months before their intended travel date, providing ample time for processing. This allows one entry to Canada during the validity of the visa.

Multiple Entry Visa:

It grants multiple entry privileges, allowing the holder to enter and exit Canada as frequently as desired before the visa's expiration. The visa remains valid for up to ten years from the issuance date or until one month before the passport's expiry, whichever comes first. While in Canada, individuals are permitted to stay for up to six consecutive months before exiting through any designated port of entry. It is imperative to leave Canada on or before the visa's expiry date.
Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for a Visitor Visa to Canada, applicants must:
● Have a valid travel document, such as a passport.
● Be in good health and willing to undergo a medical examination if required.
● Demonstrate sufficient funds to cover their stay in Canada.
● Provide evidence of ties to their home country, such as employment, assets, or family, to show their intention to return.
● Have a clean criminal record and not pose a security risk to Canada.
